ok so this is my first oc
now im gonna let you in on a little secret,, i couldn't think of a name for this skin so i decided to just make it an oc lol but i really like her so its fine
also i made up her background and everything with my best friend mafii who is also gonna make some art of Lyrae so stay tuned!!

name: Lyrae Kastan (leer-aye kah-stahn))

relationship status: single
family status: only child
lives in another world where society greatly favors scientific and technological advancements. her parents are astrologists (thus her name being a star) who are so immersed into their work that they hardly pay her any attention. she was sent to an expensive as all heck boarding school type of place and receives generous checks every week. although she subconsciously believes the lack of affection from her parents doesn't affect her, her personality is influenced by their absence (which we'll get to soon!!) she's hella interested in science and she's h e l l a good at it.
rather than living in a dorm room at her school she lives in an apartment that she pays for with her parents checks. her parents were extremely messy with all of their astrology papers and sht so Lyrae tends to be very organized. she obvi has a planet/star aesthetic going on in her apartment but she also has a cactus aesthetic as well bc they're just so darn cute
her most significant traits are her ambitiousness and her cunning nature (she's basically the embodiment of slytherin lol what a catch). she'll do absolutely whatever it takes to come out on top like she'll probably end up killing someone at some point to get a good grade (but that 4.0 gpa amirite??). so yeah she's at the top of her class because of that but don't think for a second that she's some introvert that doesn't have any friends cause she's not that cliche. she's got a solid group of friends but they are primarily used for her own needs since she's cunning and all that (only exception is one of her friends got her the socks with the flowers on them and she seceretly rlly likes them lol). she also analyzes everything way too in depth bc that's just how she rolls
her main goal is to make her way up the government ranks. she doesn't necessarily plan on being some president or anything but in a position where she can influence whoever's in charge (basically like Long Feng from avatar the last airbender) bc she thinks the governments weak and too empathetic,, she thinks she'd do a good service by dehumanizing the whole government process and focusing more on the scientific and analytical aspects in order to advance their society
HER LOVE LIFE (also back to her personality being affected by the absence of her parents) (don't worry not gonna be that cliche): so she's not against crushes at all. like she thinks it'd be nice to have a boyfriend to just cuddle around with and maybe one day rise up in power with but she actually craves the attention due to the lack of affection she receives from her parents. so she's smart when it comes to other people (friends, relationships) but not with her own emotions (she def has never taken a psychology class). but the best part is she literally has love down to a science. no way is she gonna listen those embriodered pillows that say "follow your heart." this girl is all about analyzing the respiratory rates of the hot guys in her class whenever she gets near them
