Okay, so you might want to make the skin contrast the hair some more. Also you could try using a second layer on the head to make the hair "pop out". (I don't know what to call that part :P) When you make the hoodie, you can literally flip the hoodie part upside down to make it look more like a hoodie. I hope I was some help :)
