Michiru Kagemori, the Tanuki (raccoon) girl and the protagonist of the anime Brand New Animal from Studio Trigger. After an hospital stay, she suddently transformed into a tanuki person. Afraid of her new appearance, she lived locked down in her bedroom for one year, before deciding to go to Anima City, a recently developed city where 'bestmen' can live freely.
