My entry for the MNCS Mascot Competition!
As I'm typing this the contest has only 5 minutes remaining lol. I severely procrastinated working on the actual skin, I admittedly cut some corners to get this out on time, so if my design gets chosen I might wanna spend an extra hour on it.
I recently picked up some new Vans and felt heavily inspired by the brand's checkerboard aesthetic, so I tried to incorporate some skater fashion nods to the design, I think it ended up pretty good. The style itself was also inspired by Minecraft's promotional art aesthetic, and I kinda like that simplistic, oversaturated funk it's got going on.
I'd spend more time on this write-up but i got 30 seconds left lol.
