Moai Dancer

I wanted to do something different for the subject of Historical Splendor.
I figured most people would go military, famous leaders, medieval, ancient Roman or Greek or Egyptian.
Therefore I decided to try something unique in the world.
That's when I decided upon the moai of Rapa Nui, also known as Easter Island.
They were historical, ancient relics that people still don't know the full origins of, and yet everyone knows what they are.
However, seeing as they were only heads, I needed something for the body.
What better to use as a body than the traditional clothing of the Rapa Nui people?
Well, what little of it there is. The "clothing" is mostly a decorative loin cloth.

So, in essence, what I've made here is a moai head with the body of a male Rapa Nui native dressed in traditional ceremonial clothing and body paint.
