I suggest looking up some tutorials and some tips and tricks along shading and more specific character design. Also when starting, it's always best to base your skin off of something existant, much like builds.
Like a video game character or the like.
I honestly get the feeling that this skin was rushed and blotched all over, though I do applaud the attempt.

3/10 I suppose? Better luck next time.
