My skin for the Nuclear Winter Skin Contest, which I somehow managed to **** up, because the site doesn't let me put this into the contest (even though there were obviously 2 more hours left)... Thanks... >.>
Story
Myths... Myths, stories, legends. They've all existed for hundreds, maybe even thousands of years. There are countless stories about all kinds of people and creatures. People tend to ignore them, because they sound unrealistic. But they're wrong. Not all of the stories are made up. One of them is a yeti. It's real. They've existed among us ever since we first began to make tools. But ever since humanity figured out how to make weapons, the yeti's ran into the woods, caves and other hideouts, to hide from us. Even now, there are many places on Earth, that haven't been found. That means, there're still a lot of places to hide. But now, it's all going to change. Humans cannot agree peacefully with one another. A war between us has started. A nuclear war. It ended after 3 years. The land was destroyed. only few million people were left alive, others blown up. No one thought that the bombs would be able to start mutations. After some sight seeings of unseen animals, we figured out, that the bombs spread out some kind of a virus. It wasn't deadly and didn't effect humans, but it mutated animals. It made them into carnivores and drove them mad. Animals, such as a yeti, were once peaceful creatures. They had a white, beutiful fur, blue-ish skin. But now, they're fur became yellow, their nails have grown into flesh cutting claws and even horns have grown on their heads. They began to wonder out of their hideouts and search for food. So now, it's not people versus people. It's humanity versus the animals, as it used to be thousands of years before. In this world, it's kill or be killed!
