Turn it into something more "3D" by using the second layer and matching the color errors, ie to bring out even more detail, shadows and highlights from the light parts.

Some advice I consider when making skins is the appearance of the arms, particularly the right arm, as that's the one I use. The right arm is the one I use because it's nostalgic to Bedrock edition.
