Ninja Kaido Suzimoto.
The sun was setting, and Kaido's target was almost in sight. He was perched on a roof, blowdart in hand, ready to strike. Before coming he had dipped the dart in cyanide to make sure of the Shogun's death.
There he was, rounding the hedges with Miss Haiku, his lover. the Shogun stood next to her, watching the sunset on their balcony as Kaido was hiding on the roofline behind them.
The two lovers grew close together, holding hands as they watched the sun slowly descend. Kaido had a clear shot, but it would just be wrong to kill Miss Haiku's lover as he was standing with her. He put the blowgun down and waited for a better opportunity.
It was near dark when a mad Samurai flew onto the balcony, sword swinging wildly. The Shogun went down, blood spraying all over Miss Haiku and the rogue Samurai. Kitsune Kai- for that was his name- laughed crazily as he stood over the Shogun's lifeless body. Miss Haiku fell down, sobbing, and Kaido was all like, 'Whelp, I'm outta here!'
And thus the Shogun of Eastern Japan had been assassinated. Terribly ironic, isn't it? Kitsune underwent this feat before the bloody battle mentioned in his own story. Kaido no longer took part in merciless killing after witnessing that event.
