Non-Binary Pride Flag
What does it mean to be Non-Binary? It means that that a person does not identify as either male or female, as part of the binary regarding gender. Now, gender, just like sexuality, is a spectrum. Non-binary can still mean you are part of this spectrum in some sort of capacity but that is your individual choice. Similar to being non-binary is being Agender. Like being asexual, being Agender means that you don't have a gender identity in anyway shape of form. You are off the spectrum in your own zone! I'll post the Agender Pride Flag at a later time.
Being Non-Binary is also an umbrella term holding other categories of gender identity under it that relates to being non-binary and still being on the spectrum. We will get into that later with demis, libras, and agender. You can still have a gender identity while also identifying as non-binary. When that is the case, it means that while that person does not identify on the typical gender spectrum we all know (male/masculine to female/feminine), they may identify as a gender on a different spectrum. It is up to the individual person who identifies as non-binary to determine that.
The Colors and Its Meanings
Yellow --> Genders outside of the gender binary
White --> Embrace many or all genders
Purple --> Combination of male and female
Black --> Absence of Gender
*update* I updated the skin to be just the 4 stripes instead of rotating the flag repeatedly throughout the skin in order to ease the eye strain. Hope this works better ^_^
*Important Information and Resources*
To this day, many members of the LGBTQIA+ community face many hardships that impact their overall health, wellbeing, and livelihood. This results in homelessness, mental health issues, emotional health issues, drug abuse, death, and social abandonment. This is because there is a vocal group of individuals who perpetrate discrimination and hatred towards the LGBTQIA+ just because they love in a different way than they believe it should be.
Love is love and there is nothing harmful about it. There is also nothing harmless in how you identify who you are. That is for you and no one else!
