Year 3054, it's been 14 years since the great explosion of Europe. People who made it out alive were... different. Some were stronger, some were weaker, but most just weird. Those weird ones usually merged with a person or an item that was closest to them. This is the story of a man who merged with a plant:
"It was year 3040. Everyone was living happily, kids were playing, grass was growing, adults were working, everyone was doing something. I was at a flower shop, picking up flowers for my girlfriend, I loved her. But she was leaving to America, she didn't have any idea how lucky she was. Neither did I. No one knew about those experiments. Some scientists were working with rats and tried to make them stronger by giving them so Lion DNA. But in order to do that they had to create a safe nuclear explosion. They made a box of the strongest material known to man. But it didn't work. The explosion broke out of the box. When I saw the explosion I was terrified. The only thing that made me smile was knowing that my beloved girlfriend was halfway to America by now. The explosion ripped all of us appart and put us back together, but... we were different. I saw men with two heads, three arms and even five legs. Some were with tails, some were without ears. And I... I was covered in vines and grass. I tried to take it of, but the vines grew from within me, from my heart. I was stuck like this. The doctors said that if they tried to operate me I would probably end up in paralyzed and wouldn't be able to move. I thought "that's no life, I'd rather be half plant that not be able to move for the rest of my life" and so... I live like this to this day. My girlfriend dumped me when she saw me like this, my friend abandoned me and my family... well their all dead..."
