There’s only one book that I’ve ever read and disliked, even including all the meh ones required for school. I like reading. But man i HATE THE GREAT GATSBY because the characters SUCKED

All of the important characters are selfish pricks, the one single normal person in the entire story is portrayed as a loser because he isn’t in the Billionaire McRichdip club, and the protagonist is practically a side character. Seriously, he only ever drove the plot like twice iirc, the dude was just a bystander for 96% of the book.
