Ive had the same problem too by trying to change my skin, the solution for me was that the computer couldnt do it, (it wasnt on my own computer) but try saving it on you computer, then log on to minecraft.net, and then click on profile, then find the little box where it says "upload file" and find the skin. that might work.
if not try to surf around the internet to another solution. :-D

i like red and creepers so i wanted to make a skin that i would like, so i dont care you think im copying your skin, cause im not :) and cool skins too! i first saw it after mine was uploaded...
