[Before you comment about how I shouldn't have chosen to make a teen skin for this, please understand that I have my limits and teen skins are my style and it's hard for me to attempt to change that. But this skin does have relevance because I went to a memorial service where there was a dance display to raise money for the RBL and this is how the dancers were dressed.]

Today is Remembrance Day. In 1918, at 11 o'clock on the 11th of November, the 11th month, the first world war ended. Remembrance day is a day to remember all the soldiers who died during the war and their families. Remembrance Day is often symbolised with poppies, which grew in Flanders Fields (then in Northern France) where a lot of battles took place.

This really hits home with me because a lot of people in my family were included in the war efforts, and if it hadn't been for the men and women that played a role in the war, well, a lot of us might not be here today.

I'm glad your reminding people about this because I think most people dont know about it or either forgot, Its so nice to remember those men and women because I have had many family members in wars Respect <3

My family may not have done alot in the wars, but I still have alot of respect for all the soldiers.
Also the fact I went to the Australian Army Cadets helps...

Why have you made a teen girl skin to remember the soldiers who died in our past conflicts, would a soldier or something war themed not fit better?

Soliders were not the only people who contributed to the war. Woman, and children (Maybe teen girls) would make things called "care packages" which were little gifts that contained biscuits and smokes. These things did contribute to the war, and maybe the wives and children of these people helped push the soldiers to try and win the war for there families.

Yes, I am well aware of that. Rememberance day is generally more about remembering people who fought in the wars and were part of the military than the teen girls. I only put soldiers as naming everyone/every type of person who was part fo the war would take up a ridiculous amount of space and time. I was more pointing out that OP had posted a generic teen skin which has little resemblance (only a poppy) to distinguish it is dedicated to Remembrance Day, maybe OP was just after internet karama?
