Back story

Back when there was no light in the universe at all, it was total darkness practically no organisms survived, and if you did survive it would be a living hell. The only time there was light, it was from gods. They were the only living creature that provided light, their skin glowed, but very dimly. But even for the gods it was torchure for them, they couldn't die, they were immortal, but finally they all decided that this age of darkness should end and they would begin a new life with only light. But the Metrelna (goddess of darkness) did not approve of this new age, she loved the way things were, everything dark, total blackness, She felt as if they were honoring her. So she kidnapped a different god every night and trapped them in the depths of tartarus. Once Ardius (God of Time) found out what Metrelna doing, he froze time, freed all the gods from tartarus, took a spec of life from each god and a tear from Metrelna and threw it all into the heart of the earth and the beautiful Rizella was created. Light burst throughout everywhere in the universe. For now, a new age had begun. Everyone rejoiced and all living things was once again happy to be alive. Everyone celebrated for the new begin of this age but, Metrelna. Rizella was happy to be alive of course but she wanted to do her best of making everyone happy. She spoke to Metrelna and asked her what was wrong. Metrelna explained to her that she had eons of darkness and she felt like she was the ruler of the universe. Rizella came up with a resolution that they would both share the universe and they would have half the time of a day it would be light an it would be called daytime and the other half would be all darkness called night. They agreed on this conclusion and lived the rest of their immoral lives in happiness.
