you've improved a lot in the use of colors, well done! But I think that the best kind of shading you made was this skin. I think it was wonderful and distinctive. In the end, if you want to continue in this shading you are free to choose, but I advise you to use this shading. I'm sure if you participated in the next contest using this shading, again, you would get a high rank.

Yeah, I agree with Cap. Your orc skin is my favorite by far.

No problem! ;)

I think you forgot because you designed skins are many very quickly. I don't envy you. xD

Ahhh, these colors are very nice. Shading is a little on the gradient side (stripes of top to bottom shades from one ramp, blocks of that same order, etc.), but it fits well enough. I recommend making some more complex skins, and you'll be forced to work without long strips of gradient. http://imgur.com/a/oP3eD These are some cool pieces you could get inspiration from, perhaps.

oo yes.  I see you're still doing the detailed thing, but as long as you're getting better keep at it o;  huge improvement from the last skin, also

dis means u appreciated my long long bible from last skin? ;o

Just like I commented last time, just in TL;DR: Study the way light reflects on objects, study the selected techniques you are trying, don't base it off of adapted variants this community has, you will learn more than you think in the end through this way.

If you want a comment regarding the style you did and designs, really, nothing to comment, I wouldn't be criticizing yourself, I would be criticizing the designers you referenced, pretty much.

Ofc I did, feedback is help for me and there's no reason to not be thankful for help.

Do you have any links about the pure theories you mentioned in your previous comment? It'd be great if I could study those. if you don't have any that's fine

Noise itself is not a theory i've seen online described like that. Just play with photo filters in photoshop and see how they work and adapt them to something appealing. For color theory, there is RGB and CYMK. For some reason, MCSkin 3D works better with CMYK, so study the color wheel and it's complementary colors and all that jazz. Far as lighting affects objects, study images, I recomend you pay attention to your environment, and how light is so special.
