thanks! i like to shade using limited colors and higher contrast, which i think creates a more bold looks that makes it pop :) i reccomend looking at references of real pictures so you know where to shade and what areas are darker, and then the real skill comes in when you try and figure out how your going to simplify it into low resolution pixel art! after practicing with references or just drawing normally if you like that, you might slowly start to pick up where the folds occur, like on the sleeves, neck, and underneath any protruding parts :0 good luck and have fun making skins, and thanks for your compliment :D hopefully my vague advice was encouraging xD
