Legends tell of the story of a egyptian warrior who after a great war was knocked out in battle, when he awoke he was abandoned in the desert, thought to be dead by his fellow soldiers, he may not be dead but soon he will be. his bones ached, his throat felt like he ate sand paper and his head as heavy as stone. he prayed to the great god 'Anubis' to give his soul to him if he can survive these great sands, but Anubis tricked him and turned him into a creature of the sand, forever to wander it and to trap any who wander the sands by coming out of the very ground they stand on.
