A skin I made by extracting the sand texture and adding eyes.
It makes a good camouflage in SMP.

Where do you get the normal block textures? Im going to make a sandstone one unless you can make one for me...

if you use windows, like me, click "start" "run" type in "%appdata%", open the folders ".minecraft", "bin" and open "minecraft.jar" with Winrar. scroll down till you get to terrain.png. that is where all the block textures are.

sorry, i can't be bothered, i don't use the painterly pack myself, but you could try to make it using my skin as a template. (i use paint.net)
