The SGR (Specialized Government Robot) v4.7 is the current model that the government utilizes for heavy defense operations since the almost indestructible metal alloy the bot's constructed out and its bulletproof glass dome allows it to go into war zones without any failure, even surviving minutes in extremely high temperatures.
After the Industrial APA v1.4 helped to revolutionize cybernetics, fear of android abuse would ensue. As a result, the government developed specialized robots that would be designed around preventing android attacks and cybernetic mishaps. The first version helped pave the road by creating a successful bot that would disarm and deactivate rogue androids. however, as further development of cybernetics lead to stronger, and more intelligent androids, the SGRs became obsolete and the first versions were retired.
Because the first SGRs were too lanky and not strong enough to the new APA's titanium alloy arms, a new design had to be created. After the discovery of an unbelievably strong metal alloy was made, the government incorporated this super strong material into their SGRs.
The SGR v4.7 is made with high power motors servers in the limbs which allow it to punch through steel. Moreover, the Bot's gold wiring allow it to respond incredibly fast to any incoming attack, and it's high powered thermal sensors give it an incredible advantage on the battle field.
These bots aren't seen frequently, and are usually deployed around the city in special circumstances. Only one or two are seen usually since they're extremely expensive to produce and only one bot is needed to defeat a small army.
The civilians, however, fear that the government is becoming strong enough to oppress and create a dystopia utilizing the unknown amount of SGRs they possess.
The government has been asked about the numbers of these robots. No response has ever been recorded...
