Well, this is only a shading test tell me if you like it or not. I made the shading dark to represent the sadness this characters is going through. Thank You.

I like it, but similar to Dino_Derp, I agree that less saturation should be used, and instead replaced with contrast and hue shifting, as then, to me, it would not look like there is a grey film over the skin and it would just, in general, be darker.

I think you should bump up your contrast level and use less saturation, it makes the skin look dull.
But still nice skin :)
