Who said a hero had to be a superhero!?

The following contains many references to the story of FFVII and its prequel Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. As such, it may be extremely difficult for someone unfamiliar with the story and characters of those games to understand the whole thing. The story and some events may also have been heavily modified in order to accommodate a fictional character.

Sieg Kasumi is an imaginary character set in the world of FFVII. He is the third wielder of the thick, curved longsword Skeith. When he became a 1st class SOLDIER and an acquaintance - sometimes partner - of Angeal Hewley, he received the blade from his predecessor. He continued working for the Shinra Electric Power Company until he went rogue at the closing stages of the Wutai War.

Sieg has short, spiky brown hair with bangs framing the side of his face. He is well-built and stands at approximately 5'11". He wears a modified 1st class SOLDIER uniform with metal protectors and hardened leather for added protection. He also features the iconic blue eyes of a SOLDIER, although they are slightly faded.

Sieg initially has a warm, enthusiastic personality, eagerly accepting any assignments that floated his way. However, after his initial meeting with Angeal Hewley (upon his promotion to 1st class) he became strikingly cold and calculating. After that moment he seemed to take the old adage, "actions speak louder than words," extremely seriously, as he would only talk when deemed absolutely necessary.

Near the end of the Wutai War Sieg was confronted by Genesis and Hollander, and was recruited into their betrayal of the Shinra Company. He was later killed, however, for attempting to stop the creation of Genesis Copies, as he believed that that method of fighting Shinra was nearly as malicious as the company itself.

Before his death he was mildly successful in combating Shinra, but was never able to inflict any serious damage. He was, however, the first to learn the spell Meteor outside of the Cetra. He passed away before we was able to use it, but due to his strong beliefs Sephiroth was able to learn the spell from Sieg's memories while in the lifestream.
