This is a skin I made for my Roleplay server. It's for a new race requested by one of our new players. I didn't spend too much time on it, so I will most likely take another look at it later, and change it here and there.

Name: Homonculus (Homonculi pl.)
Description: A race derived from humans. Originally formed from a long-lost type of magic, though there are still catalysts throughout the world and even beyond that hold the spell, waiting to cast.

Homonculi can be easily distinguished by their hair, as white as snow, and red eyes that burn brighter than fire. This is because the spell that creates them relies on the same set of DNA as every other, and so every Homonculus looks identical when 'cast' except for their age and gender. Breeding is the only thing that could vary their appearance, and even still their genes are dominant over other races. Additionally, the age at which a Homonculus appears to be is decided the moment they are 'cast', and they never appear to grow older.

Typically a Homonculus only lives for about a decade, and it is typical around halfway through their lifespan to begin malfunctioning. However, half-bred Homonculi (If a Homonculus and another race have a child) will usually avoid this, not to mention have lifespans at least twice that length.

Homonculi typically know everything they 'need' to know the moment they're 'cast', and so theyhave some difficulty learning. Most also have difficulty using weapons, and more naturally grasp using their body as a tool and weapon. Menial labour and simple tasks are what Homonculi are often 'cast' for, not to mention self-sacrificing magic and alchemy are what they're best at, so they have some natural ability in these areas. They emanate a cold aura of sorts, causing animals to naturally stay away from them, and as such they typically have trouble handling animals or even catching fish.

While most were once summoned for a purpose by less than morally sound magic users, used as slaves of sorts, those summoned today are often given a more secure free will. However, the catalysts that summoned them may still have some hold over them, and curses that dominate free will have a much greater effect and rate of success on Homonculi.
