Not much is known about the Spider-Demon. His reign has been almost erased from history. People are trying to forget the pain he wrought. What we do know is this: the Spider-Demon was an incomprehensible evil disguised as a friendly neighborhood hero--and he controlled the city for nearly a decade. His reign of terror was finally brought down by a group of exiled heroes, randomly traveling the multiverse. But the people of the city still hold fear in their hearts that one day he will return--and that the exiled heroes will not be there to save them.
