I noticed there were no STALKERs among the skins, so I thought to expand the theme. :D

This is the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. the Loner skin, coming up, Duty, Freedom, Monolith, and other faction skins, hope you like them!

I don't like noise either, but some pieces of gear wouldn't have been as readable if I didn't do it like that.

Meh, it all depends on how much time you're willing to spend on shading. I tend to make my skins in skinedit first, then go over them with a nearly-transparent soft black-brush in photoshop to add some contrast. It can improve a skin's quality 10-fold in just a few quick strokes. Try it out next time.

Will do, thnx.

But plain old darker hues of pixels work for me, since I do hi-rez illustration, constant changing of modes to fit the reqs for .png, and a good .jpeg in PS bores me(though the option to preserve transparency does give .png some weight.).
