Stranger

You can't get much more original than your own imagination.

When I was 3, I had a bizarre nightmare. I remember my parents had explained to me what horror movies were, but I still had yet to see one. The idea of people watching things that scared them seemed silly to me. But I went to bed that night and had a dream about fear. It wasn't of anything in particular, but reflecting on that conversation had made me think of everything that scared me. Mosquitoes, sharp objects, people wearing masks. Then suddenly this image appeared to me and whispered my name. His face was round and pasty white, his eyes a dark black, and he had grey, balding hair like an old man. He wore a casual outfit (I saw him with a leather jacket and khaki pants the first time) and his voice was raspy like a jazz singer. It was chilling, but I didn't recognize the figure. It wasn't a flying bug, or a sharp object, and he wasn't wearing a mask (that I knew of.) That's when I leaped out of bed and into my parents room (And the typical calming of the night terrors took place from there)

To this day, I still have no idea why I had put this image together. It was a part of my childhood that I can't seem to erase. Because of the way the mind puts words and images together, whenever I hear the word Stranger, Evil, or Villain, this image pops into my head.
