The Swamp Devil is a Pictish demon, he is the half-brother of the Pictish shaman Zogar sag. Both are the children of Jhebbal Sag whom he had with a fire demon for one and with a human woman for the other. The Swamp Devil is written as green in color, with scales of snakes, claws on the hands and paws with three toes, reminiscent of both the bird and the reptile. His facial features are similar to those of his brother Zogar Sag but more exaggerated.
