Can you explain what you mean? I understand what noise is on a grpahic, but I'm not sure how that pertains to skins? Thanks for your comment and help! It's very much appreciated.

It's the same type of noise, basically it means that there are many pixels near eachother with slightly different variations in hues... just very slight. light noise is a normal part of a large graphic, but on very small files (Skins or textures that are very small 16x16, 32x32) the artist uses a palette or a set of hues. That way there are no variations withing a shade. Like pixel painting, a method by which an artist paints a digital image pixel by pixel with a palette he/she created first. I see what you mean, and seeing as this is the only kind of pixel art I've ever made, I can see where my technique of using the burn tool in Photoshop doesn't really work. I'm a graphic designer, so Photoshop is easiest for me to use. :3
