The Imprisoned.

Once the plague struck our once great city was devastated. Our libraries and universities, former beacons of knowledge, have been reduced to rubbles.


What to do with the plagued? Those still with the misfortune of still living within the infernal confinements of these great walls must face this question every day. They roam the streets, no traces of human nature and rationing left in their rotted sunken eyes. There is no known way to help them at this point; death is the only release from their suffering. One method to stop them being let loose upon the street is imprisonment.


Whether these people lack the empathy or strength to kill the newly infected I do not know. They put them in heavy wrought iron shackles and boots, cover the soon to the ravenous mouths and chain them to the walls in whatever way possible. They are nearly immobile and cannot do any harm to you in any way. The only thing these people can do is wither away. Sometimes they are unlucky enough to escape their chains and crawl around the city with their skeletal bodies.


My best advice when you see this haggard plagued is to kill on sight, not because they pose any harm to you. At this point it is the humane thing to do.
