Why does it say: Failed to save skin: java.lang.NullPointerException when ever I try to change my skin

the u need to download the skin and then goto mincraft.net and login. once there go to prophile and click browse. there a buble will pop up click on downloads and click on the shadow archer u downloaded. then click ok. after click upload
