I would expect better honestly. It's mixed of too many different styles. Blocky, retro palette shading and his classic smudeg the basic shading one.

You should make this skin have moving eyes. which could be done and still look nice, by just making the eyes slightly bigger (think enderman). The moving eye/mouth effect became famous because of you. :)
