Origins of the Vengeful Dryad:

Long ago, in the Spellbound Garden, there was a dryad priestess that worshiped the Goddess of Mushrooms, Fungina, praying for the chance to help others in her community. One day, while venturing out in the wilderness that surrounded her village, she came across a lost knight, trying to find his way home to his father's kingdom, which was past the garden's boundaries. Overtime, they became more friendly towards each other, adventuring more and more as their relationship strengthen. However, during the battle with the Dragon of Rotting that was threatening to destroy the City of the Spellbound Garden, she was killed...

Three days later, she awoken from her death, rising from the ground that was filled with fungi. She soon realize that she should be dead, but she isn't. When she turned to she over her shoulder, she say an arrow pierced into her back. She took the arrow out, surprisingly with any injuries, and looked at it. She identified the arrow as that of one of the knight's carefully crafted arrows. Not knowing hoe to feel about this information, she decided to go to the knight's kingdom to look for him. When she got there, all she saw was the knight being appointed as the new king of the kingdom, and that he was also about to be married to a princess of another prominent kingdom. She noticed a gnome in the front of the crowd, interrupting the new king about her "disappearance." He replied that he never knew her...

After a reply like that, she quickly went out of the kingdom without any witnesses and went back to her community, where she found out that all of her friends, family, and the rest of her people died, each pierced with the king's arrows. She was so devastated that a horrific transformation happened to her: She began to develop such powerful fungal powers that even the most powerful fungal masters were put to shame, meanwhile also making her eyes become so cold and hypnotizing that anyone who didn't know who she was would automatically try to get away from her. She though of these powers as "gifts" from Fungina, finally hearing her plea...

After the emergence of her powers, she started to go on a vengeful wraith across the kingdom's boundaries, going to the point of having the most wanted bounty on her head. This was known to both the kingdom and the Spellbound Garden as the "Green Eye Massacre" where 10,000 of the kingdom's people either died or suffered extreme pain from the growth of the fungal spores on their eyes...

After the "Arcane Explosion," a spell-bounded explosion that wrecked throughout the entire continent, she transformed into the most massive mushroom known to the citizens of the Spellbound Garden, the "Arcane Fungus of Fungina" as it was named then...

After a decade later, the mushroom began to swell and eventually, it exploded into a spray of fungal spores, horrifying the citizens. Out from the debris came the dryad, know awaken from her "prison." She quickly ran from the crowd and hid. After a month of hiding, she discovered that the kingdom was threatening the Spellbound Garden with war, as the kingdom was quickly growing and it needed more land to grow...

She was know dealt with two of the most important decisions of her life...

Should she go and try to destroy the entire kingdom again in her vengeful spree, spreading her "punishment" to all of the people of the kingdom there...

or...

Should she try to help and rescue the Spellbound Garden, in order to both have redemption, and to protect the citizens of the garden in order to not let them have the same fate as the people of her community...
