Matau is a character from the Bionicle series created by Lego in 2001. This skin depicts Matau in his Toa Metru form.
Matoran
Matau was a former Le-Matoran who lived and worked in Metru Nui, an island city and the brain system of the Great Spirit robot. His primary job was a Ussal crab cart driver. If he had time, he would test out prototype vehicles. When Toa Lhikan, former leader of the Toa Mangai team and the city's guardian, gave Matau a Toa Stone containing Lhikan's own power, Matau transformed into a Toa along with five other Matoran - Vakama, Nuju, Onewa, Nokama, and Whenua.
