So I legitimately have no idea how well this turned out, but I spent the last day trying to figure out how to work the skin editor on my own... probably should've looked up a guide.
Anyway, this is Soundwave based off his design in Transformers Prime. Personally, I've always liked this design, and between my waves of Destiny work, I went in and did a couple other Transformer skins to test myself. DotM Shockwave was a massive pain, but nothing could've prepared me for this.
You see, I've been using an older skin editor because it suits me well for my work. However, knowing that we could now make HD skins nabbed my curiosity. While I don't really plan on going this route for Destiny for a long while, I DID want to try my hand with this in general... and it was a nightmare for the first half.
During my first attempt at the head, I had accidentally made it so I was working on a front-face of 32x32, rather than 16x16, which is what these skins are supposed to be like. Glad I caught that error before I started shading or otherwise I would've been really ticked off. However, I reduced it and realized parts of the face I was working with was still working, so I went with it for a couple days and ended up here. Hopefully it turned out fine for a first outing.
