I planned to do a longer story, but since the contest submission period is ending soon, I decided to just do a short version. (so not as detailed).


Vahangrazio is a universally famous magician who works for the world renowned Circus Varkaroffa. His specialty is mind reading.


Vahangrazio’s act begins with a clown accompanying him onto stage. The clown then procures a deck of cards out of a pocket on his costume. This clown then greets the audience and introduces the show. Then he holds up the deck of cards so all can see that it is a proper deck as Vahangrazio turns away from the audience. The clown goes on and procures a random card from the deck and displays it to the audience. He tells the sudience members to look at it and remember the number, colour and suit. He then places the card back into the deck (at the bottom). He then turns around and addresses Vahangrazio. He asks Vahangrazio, what card did he showed the audience. Vahangrazio, who is still facing the back of the tent, says loudly and clearly what the card was. The audience applauds and is in shock. The clown then shuffles thedeck again and repeats the whole process another five times. Each time, Vahangrazio says the correct card when asked. Then, the clown goes up to someone in the audience, and asks someone to show him a small object that they have on them at that time. Once the clown has seen what the audience member has seen, he hands a microphone over to the audience members and tells them to ask Vahangrazio about what he/she had shown the clown. Vahangrazio, who still has back faced to the audience, then says hi to the audience member and addresses them by their name then states what was shown to the clown. The audience has shocked expressions and then they begin to slowly clap. The clown asks a three more audience member and Vahangrazio always guesses right and knows that name of the audience member. Then the show concludes and vahangrazio turns around and bows to the audience along with the clown. The audience takes their leave and head home as they enthusiastically discuss how Vahangrazio was able to supposedly read their minds.


The costume: He wears a skull for no apparent reason. Black clothe hangs down from the parts of the skull that are exposed, so Vahangrazio can not see anything as he come onto stage.


Conspiracy theories: The most famous conspiracy theory is that Vahangrazio is told by members of the circus what is being shown, but this has been disproven on several occasions.


The truth: Vahangrazio is not human (remove hat layer to see how he looks like). He is an alien who was driven from his home planet from humans in the future and went into a time machine so he could wreak havoc on humanity for what they would do to his world. The circus is just the beginning. How he was even recruited by the circus is a mystery. However, if he can mind read, I guess he can manipulate other people’s thoughts.


Even though the creature which goes by the name of Vahangrazio has brilliant eye sight, it can sense and ‘see’ everything using that method. This is just to explain how Vahangrazio can still see even when he has that skeleton helmet/mask on.
