Today is day 5 of my Very Belated Skintober challenge. Today's challenge was to do a hazmat suit.
A big thank you to my good friend Stinky for putting this challenge list together. It's been very fun so far!

Since in reality "hazmat" is just a umbrella term for a great number of different environmental suits, I decided to do a sort-of old-style CBRN suit but with a bit of flair. Half way through I got inspired by the design of the Institute Scientist suits that the player sees in the first few minutes of Fallout 4, and decided I wanted to go forward with that sort of design.

The hood was a different challenge than I initially thought it would be. I wasn't sure how to go about it, but I think the way I ended up doing it worked well enough. This is also one of the first skins I've ever made that doesn't have a face. I wasn't feeling very well today, so playing with transparency was definitely not something I wanted to bother with, though I'm sure it would have turned out fine with some tweaking. I reused the fishing vest from Day 1 with some tweaks to bring it forward to my current style. Overall, I'm very happy with today's outcome and I'm even more pleased to see my style is properly developing!

In other news, I now have an actual signature. It's actually hidden in this skin! I will soon be moving to rebrand my public platforms with that signature and it will be in all of my skins moving forward.
