Jacob Middleton lived during the Victorian era in a town named Brookhaven. He was the son of a wealthy artisan, and was the husband to be for an older woman by the name of Lilith Darkmoor. Her family wasn't fond of him however, and hired the mob to kill him. On the day of their wedding day, the mob arrived at the wedding chapel and shot Jacob. Jacob laid dying in Lilith's arms and she vowed vengeance on those who wronged them. Had Jacob lived he would have become the richest man in town, surpassing both his and his wife's fathers. A memorial for him stands at town square to this day, hand sculpted by his father.
