I've probably done well over a hundred skins, but this here is the 100th skin I've submitted to PMC.
I've found making skins to be incredbily enjoyable, and I'm glad to be able to share with y'all guys and gals! ^_^
Note on choosing Van Gogh
Van Gogh is an incredibly inspiring and important. Despite a lifetime of obscurity and relative unsuccess, Van Gogh remained committed to his painting, converting his bleak hardships into vivid, magnificent paintings. Though tragic his life was, he has undoubtedly had a lasting impact on art and culture - I'm confident he'll be remembered for as long as humanity holds on to art.
Note on composing Van Gogh
Initially I wanted to imitate the composition and colour of Self Portrait (Spring 1887) - I did manage to pinch the colours for Van Gogh's face and hair, but didn't have the same success for his jacket. I instead ended up swiping some tones from Self-Portrait (September 1889) to create the palette. Pants are improvised, but I think they fit well enough.
Making this Van Gogh skin was a blast - I hope to continue making skins for a good while :)

I'm especially fond of the colours and the anatomy too!
