2 teenagers exploring the ruins of what used to be the evil scientists lair came across the tubes. Thinking it would be fun, one of them threw a stone at a tube, which was clouded over with algae from years of disregard. As he stooped to pick up another rock a loud sob came from the tube. His girlfriend grabbed him close and asked to leave, he told her to quit being a baby and approached the tube. As soon as he touched it with his arm two green hands shot out, covered with mold and moisture, and wrapped around his throat. Surfacing from the gunk was the Weeping Walker, one of the doctors experiments. He had been exposed to the most frightening and disgusting things, the things most likely to cause grief and despair, for over a decade by being hooked up to a machine. His eyes constantly streamed tears and sobs wracked his body for sadness and pity over what he had seen. He pulled the teen closer and opened his tearstained eyes. The boy gazed into them and saw madness, the worst of the worst, enough to drive anyone insane.

The girl was smart enough to run away and get a police officer. When they returned they found the boy hanging from the ceiling, an electrical cord around the neck. His mind had snapped and he could not handle what he had seen, it had driven him to suicide. The Weeping Walker was nowhere to be seen.
