I don't have a secret ingridient, it's all just a matter of simplicity.
Oh, and I don't use stuff like skinedit or novaskin, my skins are created entirely in GIMP because the possibilities i have are much more that way.

wow really? i inda failed at gimp so i just do them all on paint.net :O. but at gimp i kinda start fising colors together and stuff and it looks awful

I guess it's all just a matter of experience with that program. I didn't really produce anything really good with it at first either, so i decided to stop making things complicated and make very very simplistic cartoon skins and then built my skin making concept from the start. And this is where I got.

My old skins are still up here too, if you want to take a look at my developement in skin making.

you just have to use the right brush at the right size :)
