This is what remains of a poor soul who jumped head over heels into the snapshot. He didn't save a backup like anyone should, with snapshots.. and the result was that his nether portal opened into a soul sand valley and a ghast immediately destroyed his portal, leaving him stranded. Due to the dull blue hue of light, he has nearly gone blind and his armor is filthy with soul sand and soil.
