Ok, since you asked me to look at your skins :) I love that you put lots of detail into this one. But the shading pulls it down. You used noise, random lighter/darker spots. While it can (very, very, very, VERY) rarely look okay-nice, it usually doesn't. If you look at the popular reel you'll see that they all have "organized" shading. You could also check this forum thread. There are more skin makers there, who don't use my method, but have their own, similar ones.
