A peculiar creature, the Woadling is a rare forest spirit commonly found occupying itself with gardening, farming, and guarding nature. Although their origin is hazy, each Woadling's individual backstory share a commonality- the entombing ritual. When a traveler finds themselves lost in a forest, it is not unlikely a Woadling will gently, though forcefully lead them astray and trap them within a tomb constructed from earthen materials. After conducting a ritual, the wanderer will emerge reborn from any natural material. From then on, they must readjust to their new lifestyle, or go against it- ultimately however, they always return to nature, as they naturally grow to giant sizes and their mentality shifts into one motivated by instinct, making them unfit for life in civilization beyond protectors of gardens and farms.
