This year my summer vacation isn't all relaxing and having fun. On the contrary, I don't have time off work (by choice) because I want to finish up my thesis. I'll be working all through summer until I've got it done. Hopefully I'll be able to take some time off after, though. 😁

What I DID take time off for was to help out my parents with taking out an old concrete kitchen floor, and replacing it with a new, proper one with floor heating. anonpmc2558251 helped too. 💗

This skin represents what I ended up looking like during the work on the new floor. 😅 Your hair gets all dry from the cement, causing it to practically start standing up straight. 🤣 No preventing splatters on the face either. Making concrete is messy!


Phrozen and I are all sore now from the heavy lifting of making concrete and moving it around, but it was all worth it because the new floor turned out great. 😁
