My first successful attempt at shading one of my old skins that I had made a long time ago when I first started playing Minecraft.
Anyways, here's a little factfile/lore on the character:
Born long ago in the nether, more specifically in the Skeletal-creeper Empire, he lived peacefully until the day a strange square of obsidian filled with a purple essence on the outskirts of the town. Soon, a strange humanoid being appeared out of the portal. The Empire acted peacefully towards it, but it then drew out a strange sword made out of some sharp, lighter blue material. It started slaughtering citizens, innocent or not, but the Empire easily defeated it. However, more portals started appearing and even more of these beings returned for revenge. It soon turned into a war. One day, a massive army of the beings invaded the Empire, causing citizens to flee. Zekrone, being one of these citizens, had studied magic and alchemy in his youth. Wittingly, he brewed up a potion of invisibility and was able to sneak out of the city. On the way out, he witnessed the strange beings slashing and slaughtering innocent citizens with their odd swords. This fueled him with anger and revenge for what these beings had done. Once on the outskirts of the town, he looked back at the Empire which was now completely overrun by the strange beings. He spotted a portal not far away. He had no choice but to enter the portal. Stepping through the portal, he entered a strange world with soft, green material all around the floor. He was able to learn about this new environment and build a shelter. Gathering strange materials, he was able to create a bow and arrows. The last of his kind, the only one who survived, he slowly takes his revenge on these beings by shooting arrows into their limbs, rendering them immobile. Then, using a sword, he executes them with their own, cruel methods that they used to exterminate his kind. The only remains of the Empire, today, are the strange nether fortresses that are dotted randomly around the nether.
