Contrast is the colors opposite of eachother on the color wheel. Like, Purple & Yellow, Red & Green, and Orange & Blue. They kind of "stand out" more when next colors that aren't very similar, I guess?

I'm not really sure if I explained that well but I hope it helped. xD

no but contrast is
how much the colors are different from each other, and how much of an effect it makes. If you have low contrast, your colors are mainly the same. If you have high contrast, well thats a bad thing becuz the colors are TOO different and it hurts your eyes. Try to look up a blog that will help you.
