i remember when i was playing mcpe, around the time of the nether reactor, i found some a video of a guy making this portal, i tried for like 40 minutes, making the portal in different places, placing the water on every block, waiting until it worked

a traumatic experience

it's a 1.14 recolour of the old glowstone texture from the alpha version of the game. the old texture didn't connect well when placed together
