It's cool, but bismuth is blue, and green, and pink, and yellow, and purple. Not brown. Bismuth can be silver when melted, but the crystals are colorful. I like the effort you put in, but it needs more color. I would like to see of bismuth armour amd stuff could be made. Maybe I could do it, but I'm not that good at creating textures.

the color comes from oxidation. normally its silver, which could be made dirty by say... netherrack?

I know how bismuth looks like. The way I wanted to make it resemble bismuth was more the shape of the crystals, while still being similar to the vanilla texture, that's why its brown. The actual bismuth looking stuff sounds like a really cool idea though and you should definitely try creating it. If you want to you could also use my texture as a base - just make sure to credit me.

Maybe, but bismuth only has this crystal formation in very specific situations. When I change something, I usually want it to look more real or at least as good as the original. But I'll see what I can do.
