look up basalt collums, ive seen real basalt and its hexonagal rocks solidified then due to cracks makes it look cool
make the texture of basalt dark black blue, or use this texture www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/7qe31f/basalt_the_ideal_black_building_block_pictures/

Can u pls just change diorite and it's polished variant to ashstone, cause this looks epic, but I love the basalt textures and don't want to replace it.
