You've probably been to a birch forest in Minecraft before. Tall black-and-white trees, flowing grass, and, honestly, not much else. They're basically regular forests, but with less in them, and only one type of tree. Boring.

That's where this pack comes in. With the Autumn Birch resource pack, birch forests become fall-colored, with orange grass, red trees, and fallen leaves scattered around the ground. Explore the autumn!

OptiFine is required for one feature (the leaves on the ground), but you can use this pack just fine without it.

This pack (and almost every single other resource pack) should work for nearly any version of Minecraft. Even if it says it's incompatible in the menu, it'll work fine. It should work with all other resource packs, but keep in mind that the birch leaves and leaves on the forest floor are 16x.

The screenshots use Sidlur's Shader, everything else is by me (the logo text was hard, please appreciate it).

Enjoy! 🎃

just a random idea cause i saw you can change the grass color: maybe you could make a pack changing the acacia grass to something more greener or prettier since that's one of the things people really dislike about the acacia biome! so it would be more lively.

Is there any way to make the leaves only be like that in the birch forest biome? I've tried it with my methods, but I don't know how to make resource packs...

Tweak the foliage colormap, yeah. Though it'll change all things that use that colormap (leaves, vines, etc.), which is why I didn't do that here.

There is a way to change just the leaves color? I tried to make it myself but it was becoming a strange orangem green and gray. i just changed the texture of the leaves to orange. do you have to do anything to stop getting greenish?

If you look at the pack, the birch leaves have a custom block model with biome hue turned off (which means it won't say anything about hue in it, blocks that do use it have extra bits). That's how I got it to work without a colormap being applied. (If you don't know what you're doing when it comes to simple JSON like this, just copy my model into your pack and change needed bits such as the texture and model name).

The leaf color itself is changed, and I turned off automatic hue for them. However, I included an image to make 'em bushy. It's currently called birch_leaves_bushy and located at textures/block, rename and move it to fit the pack you use and it should work (assuming you put this one above the other in the resource pack menu).
